New Belgium Pear Ginger Beer debuts in Lips of Faith
New Belgium Pear Ginger Beer has debuted in the brewery’s Lips of Faith Series. The “Lips” series allows the brewery to get even more creative, with styles, flavors and collaborations.
New Belgium Pear Ginger Beer echoes a fizzy craft cocktail, with lemon, pear juices, and ginger. Additionally, the brewery wants you to perhaps even mix Pear Ginger Beer into your favorite cocktail.
Add fizz and flavor to the mix with this spicy ginger meets citrusy pear concoction. A tantalizing beer on its own, pear ginger is also eager to bring a crisp tartness to your cocktail creations. Recipes and Mixology at newbelgium.com

Espresso is a drink that is not for the faint of heart. Pulling a perfect shot is as much a science as it is an art form. Come to think of it, the same can be said for brewing beer. Of course, both coffee and beer have certain, shall we say ‘uplifting’ qualities. Combine the two is a natural progression.

Widmer Brothers Brewing (Portland, OR) celebrates 30 years of craft brewing with a series of collaborations. The third collab is with 10 Barrel Brewing out of Bend, Oregon.
Meet Widmer Fizz, an interesting hybrid beer. Fizz is brewed with Meyer lemons, fresh ginger, and finished with champagne yeast. The result is an effervescent, bubby, summer offering.
“We got together with the 10 Barrel team, and they helped push this beer way out of the box,” said Ben Dobler, innovation brewer at Widmer Brothers Brewing. “We’re calling Fizz a ‘spritzer-style ale’ because the beer was inspired by spritzer champagne cocktails, and we feel like it’s a great description of what the beer actually delivers. The champagne yeast, Meyer lemon, and fresh ginger give it a really refreshing summertime taste.”
