We are honored to have been selected as a host for this year’s Zwanze Day!

This will be a 𝗰𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁 from 12pm-4pm. At 4pm, our taproom will open to the public. We’ll have 140 tickets for sale, spread across 3 separate release days: Saturday 9/11, Sunday 9/12, Monday 9/13

⁣‣Proof of at least 1 dose of vaccination is required as per NYC law. Please have your physical vaccination card or Excelsior Pass ready when you arrive.⁣

Zwanze Day 2021 at Beachwood BBQ & Brewing

We are honored to be participating in Zwanze Day 2021 to celebrate a wonderful, rare beer by the legendary Brasserie Cantillon.

About this event

Zwanze Day 2021 is held Saturday, September 25, 11:00 am – 3:00 pm at Beachwood BBQ & Brewing Long Beach.
Tickets go on sale Thursday, September 9th, 2021, at 10:00 am PT. Limit 2 tickets per transaction. Tickets are $100 plus ticketing fee that includes glass pours from Cantillon and Blendery listed below plus a commemorative Zwanze glass.

To ensure the safety of all guests, the event will be one session only and each guest must either be Covid-19 vaccinated with proof of vaccination or test negative with a PCR test within 48 hours of the event start time and show proof.

PLEASE NOTE: All ticket sales are final.

DETAILS

– To attend the event, each guest must either be Covid-19 vaccinated with proof of vaccination (hard copy of the card or digital copy from vaccination destination i.e., Walgreens) or test negative with PCR test within 48 hours of event start time and show proof. We appreciate your cooperation and support to keep our guests and employees safe.

– MUST be 21+ to purchase a ticket & attend the event. All guests are required to show a valid ID to enter this event.

– Limit 2 tickets per transaction.

– Due to our limited amount of space, ONLY ticket holders will be permitted into the event. Children or anyone without an event ticket will not be permitted.

– All sales are final. No refunds will be issued.

Novare Res Zwanze Day 2021

ZWANZE IS COMING!

Join us on 9/25 for another amazing day celebrating Cantillon with friends around the world!

We will be handing out 140 tickets at noon on 9/25, tickets will be swapped out for Zwanze glasses (at which you will then be charged) at 2pm.

International Tapping at 3pm. If a ticket holder is not present by the last pour, their glass will go the the next stand-by person. To make it as fair as possible, it is first come first serve & no advanced tickets or holds.

We’ll also have an embarrassment of riches offered that day & our main goal every year to satisfy everyone’s thirst for lambic but there is only a finite amount. Sadly the patio will be closed until we have are open for business.

We please ask people not to have bottle shares in the street or parking lot (open container laws). As always we’ll hand out tickets & promote people get coffee or explore the Old Port until we open at noon.

Our goal is to avoid lines the entire day.

The Veil Zwanze Day 2021

Cantillon’s Zwanze. Celebration of friendship, in the context of this rare, carefully brewed and aged lambic. Celebration of Lambic beers.

We are beyond honored and excited to be able to host Brasserie Cantillon Officiel’s Zwanze Day again here in Richmond, VA on Saturday, September 25th. Cantillon is one of our biggest inspirations and mentors, and we look forward to sharing this very special event with you all at our Funkhaüst Café!

The event will start at 1 pm and will carry on until 6 pm. Tickets will include 4 oz pours of 2020 Zwanze and 3oz pours of 2021 Zwanze.

Tickets will also include 3oz pours of 6 additional Cantillon beers listed below. Along with 12 very special beers from The Veil Brewing Co. (TBA)

Each will include an exclusive Zwanxe Day X stemmed glass available for all 2021 attendees.

The Veil will also be welcoming Sincero of RVA and an oyster bar to be enjoyed during the event.
