New Belgium Lips Of Faith Flowering Citrus Ale, with De Konnick

New Belgium Lips Of Faith Flowering Citrus Ale

New Belgium Lips Of Faith Flowering Citrus Ale is destined for the brewery’s Lips of Faith Series. This beer is brewed in collaboration with a Belgian brewer De Konnick. Interestingly, this is the second Belgian collaboration this year – hitting shelves now is a Golden Ale brewed with Hof Ten Dormaal.

New Belgium Lips Of Faith Flowering Citrus Ale is designed for summer sipping, brewed with hibiscus and rose petals. The Mistral hops highlighted in this beer are a new variety from France, boasting flavors of passion fruit and kumquat.

No need to jet to Antwerp when you can open up a bouquet of Flowing Citrus Ale. Thanks to our friends at De Konnick Brewery, we brewed up a summery ale bursting with key lime and whole lemons that mingle with the fragrance of hibiscus, rose petals and strawberry-tinged Mistral hops. Open up and let Belgian summer bloom.

New Belgium Lips Of Faith Flowering Citrus Ale will be a 12 ounce bottle offering. The brewery has not yet announced this release.

Style:          (w/ Hibiscus, Roses)
Availability: 12oz Bottles, Draft.

Odell Prop Culture releases April 15th

Odell Prop Culture

Odell Prop Culture joins the brewery’s Cellar Series on April 15th.

The basis for this project is the magic that yeast performs. Odell has been experimenting by PROPagating different Belgian yeast strains. The cultures have been blended in different primary and secondary fermentations.

We let the Saccharomyces cultures do the heavy lifting by converting the bulk of the wort sugars while the Brettanomyces cultures did the fine tuning to round out the flavor profile. The result of our experimentation led to PROP CULTURE, a project of 10+ yeast strains working together to create a fruit forward collage of flavors like pineapple, pear, mango, and banana balanced by a clove like spiciness.

Odell Prop Culture will be available in 750 milliliter bottles starting April 15th. Full availability details are forthcoming.

Style: Belgian-style Strong Ale
Availability; 750ml Bottles
Release: 4/15/16

Wild Ginger Wild Docta’, a new boozy soda

Wild Ginger Wild Docta'

Wild Ginger Wild Docta’ looks to be the third addition to the brewery’s alcoholic soda lineup.

The Nashville, Tennessee based W. G. Brewing Co. kicked off their lineup last year with Wild Ginger, an alcoholic ginger beer. Since boozy root beer is very much a thing these days, Wild Root followed shortly after.

Wild Ginger Wild Docta’ is an alcoholic rock & rye soda. For those not living in Detroit, Michigan, the soda company Faygo, makes a rock & rye soda, described as   “A dreamy vanilla cream soda with just a kick of something that may or not be cherry.”

Like the two previous releases, Wild Docta’ will be a 12 ounce can offering.

Style: Hard Soda
Availability: 12oz Cans
