Hi-Wire Pink Drink, a fan favorite, will be available in cans for a second time this month.
Previously a draft only favorite, Hi Wire Pink Drink is a kettle soured wheat ale brewed with lemongrass and raspberries. The end result is a pink beer, thanks to the berries (the brewery compares it to beer’s version of pink lemonade). The brewery finally packaged this release for the first time in fall, 2016.
…an ultra crushable tart wheat ale with lemongrass & raspberries; simple, refreshing, & pink.
Hi-Wire Pink Drink is back in 16 ounce cans starting June 26th.
Asheville, North Carolina’s Hi-Wire Brewing its expanding their Georgia coverage with the addition of Atlanta. The brewery is distributing through Georgia Crown.
Hi-Wire has already been shipping their lineup to Athens, Augusta and Savannah. As the heat rolls in, Hi-Wire has decided it’s time to head for the ATL.
“the opportunity to roll out into a major metropolitan area like Atlanta doesn’t come along too often. Hi-Wire will certainly see an incredible boost in its overall sales, but I believe the increased exposure from having a larger and more targeted audience, is the bigger piece of the puzzle.” – Chris Lutkowski, Director of Hi-Wire Sales
The brewery’s entire portfolio including year-round offerings, seasonals and wild and sour beers will be available starting in June.
Hi-Wire Brewing currently distributes to North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Georgia, and Ohio.

Hi-Wire Blackberry Sour joins the Asheville, North Carolina based brewery’s sour & wild lineup on April 1st.
18 months of fermentation were required to make Hi-wire Blackberry Sour, a blend of stainless steel, rye whiskey, red wine and North Carolina rum barrel ales.
Think blackberry jam, brett, and oak in this balanced and drinkable ale.
Hi-Wire Blackberry Sour can be purchased in 750ml bottles on Saturday, April 1st at the brewery’s South Slope location.

Expect this one to pour like motor oil. Meet Hi-Wire 10W-40 Imperial Stout.
This decadent imperial stout is brewed with fresh vanilla beans, dark chocolate from Asheville local French Broad Chocolates, and Organic Dynamite Roasting Company coffee beans. The sum of the parts means one big decadent way to drink your dessert.
The beer truly delivers on flavor. Coffee, chocolate and vanilla in a big stout is heaven to us, but what we can’t get over is the branding. Sure it would be easy to find some creature from Greek mythology, or an obscure Shakespearian phrase, combine with some comic book art, and launch the beer. Absolutely nothing wrong with that. In this case, when we say this beer pours like motor oil, we have a can that follows suit. This release is just the start of something new for Hi-Wire Brewing.
…coffee accentuates the cocoa and adds slight roast to balance out the vanilla in this dessert beer.
Hi-Wire 10W-40 Imperial Stout became available in 16 ounce cans starting January 6th.
Asheville, North Carolina based Hi-Wire Brewing is adding distribution to the state of Ohio this month.
The brewery has tapped Premium Beverage Supply out of Columbus, Ohio to handle distribution.
“The launch of Ohio is an exciting new step for Hi-Wire and North Carolina made beer in general. Ohio is a top-five craft beer state, and its beer drinkers have more commonly been making Asheville a must-visit location. We are honored to be able to “export Asheville” to these amazing beer markets.” – Chris Frosaker Co-owner, Hi-Wire Brewing
Events are scheduled for Cleveland, Toledo, Columbus, Cincinnati, and Dayton, starting February 19th, and running through March 3rd.
Asheville, North Carolina’s Hi-Wire Brewing has been absolutely killing it with the artwork. Don’t believe us? See Hi-Wire 10W-40 Imperial Stout. Coming in February is some more awesome artwork, found in the Hi-Wire Collaboration 12-Pack. If you’ve ever used a can of spray paint, or stepped foot in the paint section of a hardware store, you’ll find something familiar with this branding.
It has been a while since Hi-Wire has been able to collaborate with other breweries, thanks to the time it has taken to get settled in with their new production facility. When time opened up on the production schedule, they opted to go big.
Holy City co-owner Jeff Moreadith is a lover of lighter beers, as well as an Asheville resident. Together, they created Carolina Coastal Black Rye Lager using Seashore Black Rye, a malt grown outside Charleston, South Carolina.
The 12-pack will be rounded out with Hi-Wire’s flagship beers: Hi-Pitch Mosaic IPA, Hi-Wire Lager, and Hi-Wire Gose.
Look for Hi-Wire Collaboration 12-pack throughout the brewery’s entire distribution footprint in mid-February, 2017.
