Payette Oktoberfest returns August 5th
Payette Brewing Oktoberfest returns to the Boise, Idaho based brewery’s taps on August 5th.
The beer has been a part of Payette’s seasonal lineup for five years now. Back in 2016, the brewery launched this lager in cans for the first time.
Here’s our take on the classic Märzen Style Lager, for the original festival that celebrates beer – with beer. Our Oktoberfest goes well with sauerkraut, brauts and a pair of lederhosen. It has a rich body, smooth flavor and notes of sweet caramel malt that are like polka music to your mouth.
Payette Oktoberfest will be available in August in 12-ounce cans and draft. Additionally, the brewery will host their own Oktoberfest again September 20th.

Revolution Brewing creates La Gargola with rock band Chevelle
Revolution Brewing La Gargola, a collaboration with Illinois based rock band Chevelle, debuts on August 1st.
The band is playing Lollapalooza on debut weekend in Chicago, and ahead of the hometown swing of the tour, Chevelle brewed a Helles lager with folks at Revolution Brewing.
This classic beer, inspired by the German Purity Law of 1516 (aka the Reinheitsgebot), doesn’t rely on weird adjuncts to drive the flavor. Only the 4 ingredients that beer is really about – hops, malt, yeast, and water.
“One thing that stuck out to me in talking with Pete and the guys was the comparison between making beer and making music.Finding out what works and what doesn’t is almost equally important, just like writing music.” –Pub Brewer John “Jumpy” Palos
