Barrel Aged: Duclaw Divine Retribution Returns October 22nd
Duclaw Brewing’s (Maryland) bourbon barrel aged imperial stout Divine Retribution on October 22nd. The beer has been an instant hit since it was first brewed in 2011.
Retribution, our full-bodied Bourbon Barrel-aged Imperial Stout is aged for six months in Kentucky white oak bourbon barrels, imbuing it with rich aromas of coffee and dark chocolate, a smooth roasted malt flavor with hints of charred oak, vanilla and caramelized sugar, and a vengeful 11.2% abv. Duclaw Divine Retribution will be available at Arundel Mills, Bowie Town Center, and Bel Air locations on October 22nd. Expect give aways too.

Duclaw Mad Bishop Returns July 30th
Duclaw Brewing’s Mad Bishop Oktoberfest returns on July 30th, 2014. Bishop is the brewery’s light bodied fester, celebrating the coming of fall.
Mad Bishop, one of our most popular seasonal brews, has been haunting the congregation with its distinct copper color, rich toasted malt flavor and aroma, and 5.8% abv since it was first brewed in 1996. This true German-style Oktoberfest combines complex aromas and flavors of sweet and toasted malt, a smooth mouthfeel created by an 8 week lagering process, and a clean, crisp finish for a sermon that’s easy to swallow.
Duclaw Mad Bishop will be available starting July 30th at the brewery’s various locations.

Duclaw Has a Morgazm
Duclaw Morgazm Grapefruit Zested Blonde Ale got its start about two years ago as a cask at Max’s Taphouse in Baltimore. It was named Morgazm, and kicked in about 30 minutes.
Why Morgazm? The beer is name for one of the brewery employees – Morgan Schell. Thanks to the new location and bigger capacity, Duclaw Morgazm is now in full production.

DuClaw Divine Retribution #3 Looms
Duclaw Brewing (Maryland) is prepping for the release of Divine Retribution No. 3. This marks the third release of Retribution. (There are spin offs that include Pumpkin Retribution, Cocoa Retribution, Cocoa Vanilla Retribution, etc. )
Retribution #3 is a 40/60 blend of Kentucky bourbon barrel aged imperial stout, and their Misery Wheatwine. The blend rested quietly in the barrel for 6 months. The resulting flavor is described as “a full bodied blended stout balances a citrus aroma and tropical, fruity esters with righteous nots of dark fruit, vanilla, charred oak, and espresso…”
