Duclaw Brewing (Maryland) is prepping for the release of Divine Retribution No. 3. This marks the third release of Retribution. (There are spin offs that include Pumpkin Retribution, Cocoa Retribution, Cocoa Vanilla Retribution, etc. )
Retribution #3 is a 40/60 blend of Kentucky bourbon barrel aged imperial stout, and their Misery Wheatwine. The blend rested quietly in the barrel for 6 months. The resulting flavor is described as “a full bodied blended stout balances a citrus aroma and tropical, fruity esters with righteous nots of dark fruit, vanilla, charred oak, and espresso…”
