Short Look at Weyerbacher’s New Cellar [VIDEO]
It’s not much to look at right now, but this is Weyerbacher Brewing’s new cellar. The Easton, PA brewery is currently undergoing an expansion. As with anything you want to age, you’re going to need some real estate to do it.
New Artwork: Weyerbacher Winter Ale

New Artwork: Weyerbacher Unfiltered Double Simcoe
More rebranding from Easton, Pennsylvania based brewery Weyerbacher. Unfiltered Double Simcoe IPA.
In 750ml corked ’n’ caged bottles this will be and unfiltered, fully bottle conditioned version of the super popular Double Simcoe. Expect Cask taste in a bottle, with more pronounced hoppy flavor and aroma due to being unfiltered. Also, carbonation will be a bit higher as is usual in our cork n cage series in keeping with tradition. It all comes together to form a uniquely great experience for hopheads.

Weyerbacher Sour Black Drops This Friday
Sour Black, Weyerbacher’s follow up to Rapture, arrives Friday. The beer is a black ale aged in pinot noir barrels, the same barrels used to age Rapture. The black ale base for this beer has never been released in any other form by Weyerbacher.
Flavor Expectations per Weyerbacher: Brettanomyces lambicus was added to the barrels adding a nice acidity. It’s fruity and tart with just enough roasted character; a truly delightful dark ale.
Style: Black Ale (Barrel Aged)
Availability: 750 ml bottles, Corked & caged. 350 cases produced
Arrival: 6/29/12, 4:30 pm. Brewery only. No distribution.
5% ABV (estimated)

Weyerbacher Seventeen, A Boozy Saison Ships
Weyerbacher Brewing has a little more info on Seventeen, now shipping.
Seventeen is a Saison Ale brewed with pink peppercorns, orange zest, lemon zest, and grapefruit zest. Brewed to the classic “Weyerbacher anniversary requirement” of a strength of 10% abv or more, Seventeen weighs in at a style-obliterating 10.5% abv. Seventeen releases subtle notes of fruit, berry and pepper upon pouring. You’ll notice a balanced sweetness with a touch of citrus and spice with a dry and peppery finish.

Style: Saison
Availability: 12 oz bottles, Draft. One time brew.
Arrival: June, 2012
10.5% ABV (quite high for a saison)
