Terrapin & Cigar City To Collaborate
Some of Cigar City Brewing’s (Tampa, FL) brewing team will travel to Terrapin Beer Co.’s home base of Athens, Georgia to collaborate on a new beer.
Terrapin co-founder “Spike” Buchowski is becoming known as the “Collaboration King.” The style hasn’t been decided yet. Brew day is scheduled for early fall, 2015.

Cigar City & Duclaw Team Up on New Session Amber Ale
Duclaw Brewing (Baltimore, MD) recently made the trip to Tampa, Florida to collaborate with Cigar City Brewing, The brewing teams created a flavorfully “extreme” session beer, Impey Barbicane Moongun Session Amber Ale.
Impey features Centennial, Cascade, and Equinox hops, so you won’t miss the hop punch in each sip.
We’ve collaborated with our friends at DuClaw Brewing Company to bring you Impey Barbicane’s Moon Gun, an amber colored exercise in pushing the limits of what a session beer can do. Fueled by earth shaking amounts of Cascade, Centennial and Equinox hops. It has just enough malt character to give some balance and keep it from ‘busting up” upon lift-off. Cigar City 110K + OT Batch 7 Released
Cigar City Brewing (Tampa, FL) just launched the seventh batch of 110K + OT this week. The brewery subtitles this release – “Death By Chocolate.”
Cigar City 110K+OT Batch 7 is a strong porter, brewed with cocoa nibs from Ecuador and the Dominican Republic.
Currently on tap at Cigar City, bottles will hit distribution soon.

Cigar City Puppy’s Breath Porter Released in 22oz Bottles
Cigar City Puppy’s Breath Porter is available in 22oz bombers for the first time. Bottle are on sale in the tap room for $7, and will hit distribution. Puppy’s Breath Porter is released three times a year in April, August, and December.

5 Rabbit & Cigar City Team Up on El Bizarrón
Cuban cuisine is the theme for this 5 Rabbit Cerveceria (Chicago, IL) and Cigar City Brewing (Tampa, FL) collaboration – El Bizarrón. What better than 2400 pounds of plantains?
The plantains were hand peeled, sliced and caramelized, alongside the addition of dark malts for a rich base. The end result is a complex, flavorful porter that is labor of love.
El Bizarrón is the hero of a Cuban folktale. A simple worker who outsmarted the devil, winning his freedom as well as a load of silver, kicked to the heavens loaded on his faithful burro, way up high where he knew the devil couldn’t follow.
Bottles of 5 Rabbit/Cigar City El Bizarrón will be available at the 5 Rabbit taproom this Saturday. 2 bottle limit.

Hardywood & Cigar City Collaboration: The Milkman
Joining forces for what looks like an incredible dessert beer is Hardywood Park Craft Brewery (Richmond, VA) and Cigar City Brewing (Tampa, FL).
The duo are creating a milk stout you won’t soon forget – The Milkman.
Hardywood/Cigar City The Milkman features chocolate malts, cocoa nibs and milk sugar (make the beer creamy and smooth), finishing at a whopping 13.5% ABV.
Hardywood proudly combines forces with Cigar City Brewing of Tampa, Florida to bring you a whole new milk stout experience, Hardywood’s Milkman Chocolate Milk Stout packs a full body and palate coating viscosity. Heaps of chocolate malts and a massive addition of gourmet cocoa nibs meld with a generous dose of milk sugar to satisfy the biggest chocolate craving.
This boozy chocolate beer will release in 750ml bottles.

Cigar City’s Tequila Barrels Go Off Script
Cigar City Brewing’s (Tampa, FL) Ne’er-do-well started its life intending on being El Murcielago, a double cream ale with lime peel and cumin. Thanks to the barrel changing the script on the brewers, it ended up being a little different. Some of the barrels started giving the cream ale some peanut flavor, so the brewery ran with it. Not without adding tamarind and some cayenne for good measure.
Ner-do-well began it’s life intending to be a new batch of El Murcielago. However, it ended up in a different place in its barrel life. You never know what might happen when you spend your life at the bottom of a barrel of tequila. We noticed that some of the barrels started contributing a peanut flavor to the beer so we rolled with it. We added tamarind and a bit of cayenne to create a Mexican-Thai hybrid. It simply is a ne’er-do-well.
Cigar City Ne’er-do-well will be available in 750ml bottles.
