Birdsong Paradise City debuts in cans April 1st. The first year-round beer to join the brewery’s lineup since 2012.
Billed as a “session IPA”, Paradise City features Cascade, Chinook, Amarillo and Idaho 7 hops. The IPA is on the lower side of the boozy spectrum, just 4.8% alcohol by volume, and big on citrusy flavors.
Paradise City is a medium body, crisp IPA with lots of upfront hop aromas. It’s forward on the tangerine & citrusy side with a little hint of more complex piney notes.
Assistant brewer Jeff Bowman designed the recipe for Birdsong Paradise City. Available in 16 ounce cans starting Saturday.

Birdsong Honey Pie Double IPA will be available in cans this month.
“Heaven in a glass” is what the Charlotte, North Carolina brewery call this imperial India pale ale. The magic maker in this beer is the amount of locally harvested Cloister Honey.
In this limited release brew, a solid malt foundation is complimented by a generous amount of locally harvested honey and you guessed it… Hops! Our unique blend of hops will deliver aromas of honeydew and grapefruit, and will have you pouring the second beer before you finish the first.
Birdsong Honey Pie Double IPA will be available in 12 ounce cans and draft starting January 12th, 2017.

Birdsong Mongeese on Monkeys starts with Lazy Bird, the brewery’s imperial brown ale, and is aged in Muddy River Rum barrels. Available at the brewery in Charlotte, North Carolina starting October 15th, 2015.

Hi-Wire Oatmeal Pale Ale
Over the weekend, Hi-Wire Brewing (Asheville, NC) released a new collaboration with Charlotte, North Carolina’s Birdsong Brewing – Bird on a Wire.
Back in February, Conor Robinson of Birdsong Brewing traveled to Hi-Wire. The team came up with a peated wee heavy ale, inspired by the smokey flavors of scotch whiskey. Peated malt that was dried over a peat flame, lends Bird on a Wire its tingle of smoke flavor.
Hi-Wire/Birdsong Bird on a Wire is available now in 22oz bottles at both breweries tap rooms, and bottle shops across North Carolina.

Birdsong Brewing (Charlotte, NC) Turtles on Pterodactyls joins a small batch release series on November 13th, 2014. Birdsong Turtles on Pterodactyls is a stout aged in bourbon a barrels.
One day, friendly Dino turtles were caught in a volcanic corruption – the dangers time to be slow and steady. Fortunately, the vigilant Pterodactyl Rescue Squad noticed just in time! The dactyls swoops down with a thunderous call! And hitched the turtles to the rescue vests. Hot lava covered the earth but the turtle dudes were safe and sound. Want to be a pterodactyl? Harness their brave and gentle spirits but sharing this beer with a dinosaur loving friend. Cowabunga!
Birdsong Turtles on Pterodactyls is a part of the brewery’s Take Flight Series. Charlotte folks can grab a bomber starting at 4:30 pm on release day.
