Wild Heaven White Blackbird Canning, Oct 20th
Wild Heaven White Blackbird, the brewery’s saison, will be the 2nd can in their canning history on October 20th.
A little on Wild Heaven White Blackbird. If I’ve said it once, I’ll said it 1,000 times, it won’t be, and isn’t just a saison. This beer (that has never seen anything besides draft) uses pink peppercorns, Korean pears marinated in Chardonnay (oh, we aren’t done) aged on French oak.
Our Belgian Saison is brewed with generous amounts of pink peppercorns to accentuate the herbal, earthy, spicy notes of this amazing yeast. Korean pears marinated in Chardonnay are added to fermentation along with French oak. The result is a host of savory flavors melding together into a wonderful new spin on a well-known style. Finishes dry with woody earthy hints and elegantly well rounded fruit and spice notes.
Wild Heaven White Blackbird is already a draft offering, and will be a 12 ounce can offering, thanks to Toucan Mobile Canning. In your hands by November 1.
Style: Saison (w/ Pink Peppercorns, Pears. Wine Oak Aged.)
Availability: 12oz Cans, Draft. Year-round offering.
Release (Cans): November, 2015

Inside Wild Heaven’s First Bottled Sour, Dionysus [VIDEO]
Wild Heaven Bottles First Sour, Dionysus from BeerStreetJournal.com on Vimeo.
Wild Heaven Dionysus marks the brewery's first sour offering. A blend of six different sours, designed specifically for this cuvee.
Wild Heaven Craft Beers (Decatur, GA) has just released Dionysus, their first bottled sour offering/second barrel aged offering.
Wild Heaven Dionysus is actually a blend of six different beers, as head brewmaster Eric Johnson explains in the video above.
Instead of being one sour beer, Johnson created six, carefully soured and chosen to be Wild Heaven Dionysus. The base is Eschaton an oaked Belgian-style quadrupel. Three other beers, fermented with three different strains, aged in Bordeaux barrels, were then blended into the base. Tack on two more sour, barrel aged offerings and this cuvee is born.
Wild Heaven Dionysus is available in now in Georgia in 750 milliliter bottles. It follows Civilization, a tequila barrel-aged barleywine.
Style: American Wild/Sour Ale (Barrel Aged. Tequila. Wine Aged.)
Availability: 750ml Bottles. Limited Release.
Release: July, 2015
10.5% ABV
Wild Heaven Swan Swan Hummingbird, a Southern Brewing Company Collab
Wild Heaven Swan Swan Hummingbird ships this week, a collaboration with Southern Brewing Company.
Wild Heaven’s Eric Johnson joined forces with Brian Roth and cultivated their own wild yeast strains and bacteria at their respective breweries. Combined is a Georgia based “super strain” used to create Swan Swan.
Swan Swan Hummingbird retains bright, tropical fruity notes from the Athens strain and earthy, citrusy sour notes from the Avondale Estates strain, combining to create a truly remarkable, clean, bright example of a wild ale.
Wild Heaven Swan Swan Hummingbird is a draft only offering.
Style: American Wild Ale
Availability: Draft Only, Wild Heaven Markets

Wild Heaven Emergency Drinking Beer Debuts Today
Wild Heaven Craft Beers (Avondale Estates, GA) will launch their first canned offerings with the help of Toucan Mobile Canning this year. First up – Wild Heaven Emergency Drinking Beer.
The beer style is reminiscent of a great pilsner. Something easy drinking, crisp and refreshing, a bit like Let The Be Light, but as versatile as possible.
Emergency Drinking Beer will be the lowest alcohol by volume beer by Wild Heaven to date. Created in collaboration with Paul Calvert of Victory Sandwich Bar and Paper Plane (Atlanta Magazine’s 2013 Bartender of the Year).
The drink of necessity. Real brewed. All purpose blend. Ready to drink. Do not refill. Do not reuse…
Emergency Drinking Beer is perfect for picking out your next beer. A beer for walking to the mailbox, or waiting to use the ATM. A beer for when the zombies are tearing down your door, and you’re out of bullets. A beer for when you really, really need it.

Wild Heaven Eschaton Finally Bottled
Wild Heaven Eschaton has finally arrived in bottles. The Belgian-style quadrupel as been a bottle hopeful since its debut in 2011.
Eschaton is a one-of-a-kind oaked all-malt Quadrupel (or “Belgian Strong Dark” if you prefer) that abounds with dark fruit and pit fruit flavors as well as earthy spiciness. Vanilla oak and warm viniferous notes assert themselves as the beer warms to reveal additional layers of delicious complexity.
“Eschaton” is greek for the end of the world, or climax of history. Wild Heaven Eschaton is available in 12oz bottles, and draft while the world goes on. (Maybe a little bit after too.)
The brewery is also introducing cans in 2015.
Style Belgian-style Quadrupel (Aged on Pinot Noir Oak Chips)
Availability: 12oz bottles (New), Draft. Year-round.

Wild Heaven Let There Be Light Bottled
Wild Heaven Craft Beers (Avondale Estates, GA) has bottled Let There Be Light for the first time.
The brewery is getting the bottling line up and running at the newly built location, and has begun packaging their mainstays including, Let There Be Light, Invocation, and Ode to Mercy.
Let There Be Light! was designed to be the brewery’s flagship low ABV/session beer.
Starting with both barley and wheat, we added two rare hops—Nelson Sauvin and Sorachi Ace—along with a bit of orange peel, to create a complex beer with a citrus note that will change the way you think about “light” beer.
Wild Heaven Let There Be Light is available year round on draft and soon, 12oz bottles.

Availability: Draft, 12oz bottles (New)
