Still Popular. People in Line at 5 am for Goose Island Cherry Rye

While thousands were in line at the local mall or Best Buy all night long, a line was forming at Binny’s Beverage Depot in Chicago, Illinois. Hundreds of beer lovers were in line before 5 am for the newest Bourbon County variant to join the lineup. On Black Friday, bottles of Cherry Rye Bourbon County Stout hit shelves. The imperial stout was aged in rye whiskey barrels with Michigan cherries. That’s not the line at the Apple Store…

Our brewers love experimenting with their beer almost as much as they love drinking it. This unique blend, aged in rye whiskey barrels with loads of whole Michigan cherries, is the one they are proud to finally let you share with your friends at home  – or not. After your first sip, you’ll agree, this beer has some real stones.
