Anchor Bock Beer Released For Last Time

Anchor Brewing Company (San Francisco, CA) is now shipping their Bock Beer offering. This is the last time the brewery will release it.

Bock Beer is Anchor’s interpretation of the German seasonal offering that marks the beginning of spring. Despite being a successful seasonal, the call of new offerings is guiding the brewery’s decision.

“Anchor Bock has been a beloved seasonal not only by craft beer fans, but by the folks here at Anchor,” said Mark Carpenter, Brewmaster at Anchor Brewing Company. “In an effort to expand and innovate, as we have done for decades, Anchor will be retiring Bock after the 2014 season to allow room for several all-new brews, which we will be sharing with the world very soon.”

Anchor has told Beer Street Journal that people should be on the look out for the seasonal announcements coming soon. In the meantime enjoy the last run of Bock Beer.
