A bottle of Dalmore whisky produced 60 years ago just sold for $200,000.
That’s $12,000 a pour. The bottle is one of 12 produced. A businessman saw the above bottle on display in Singapore’s Changi Airport and bought it. HA! I long for the day I am waltzing through an airport and see an $200 grand bottle of whisky and say “Sure, and that Snickers bar.”
This rare bottle of whiskey is apparently a first fill, single barrel whisky – quite, quite rare. The bigger question is, when is a good occasion to have a $12,000 drink? [CNNBlogs]
