Troegs Says Goodbye To Harrisburg With Scratch #49

Troegs Brewing will close their doors on their Paxton Street location Saturday, October 8th at 4pm after 14 years. The brewery is setting up shop at their brand new (chocolate adjacent) location in Hershey, PA.  Scratch #49 will be available starting Friday, October 7th at 10am at the Paxton Street tasting room.  #49 will be a wet hop ale available on draft when the tasting room opens and in bottles (cases and six packs) as they come off of the line.

A note from Troegs –

If the walls of our Tasting Room could talk there would be a never-ending supply of hilarious stories and great memories. In Tröegs’ early days we would sit in that room on Saturday afternoons hoping someone would come in. Many of those early customers still remain and we’ve made new one as well — so much so we expanded the room three times to welcome… you. Thanks for all your business over the last fourteen years. It has been a pleasure to serve you. We look forward to showing off the new digs in a few weeks and hope that we don’t have to deal with crazy snaking lines around the tasting room ever again. We will miss everything about Paxton Street — except the occasional flood waters!
