Orpheus Brewing Extant Riches Burning So We Venerate the Ashes is an imperial stout, debuting as a part of the brewery’s “Year 7” Anniversary.
The base beer is an imperial stout brewed with bananas, cinnamon and vanilla beans, aged in bourbon barrels.
The story of Orpheus is a story of rebirth, first in his journey into and out of Hades, and finally in the transmigration of his soul into the body of a swan. We pay tribute to this rebirth with every beer we put into barrels, to be transformed by its time in the wood and reborn as something new.
Extant Riches Burning So We Venerate the Ashes will be available in 12.7oz bottles on September 3rd.
