Avery Go Play IPA joins the Boulder, Colorado brewery’s year-round lineup this month.
Brewery founder Adam Avery wanted to create a beer like this for years. A full-flavored, “bold” India pale ale that still sports a lower alcohol by volume and is perfect for outdoor activities.
How does the brewery achieve this? Generous dry-hopping with dank and tropical hops like Vic Secret, Idaho 7, and Simcoe, plus an addition of sodium and potassium (think sports drinks). Avery calls the beer “IPA-Ade”.
…The great thing is about Go Play IPA is that it doesn’t matter if you are out crushing a 100-mile bike ride, redpointing your hardest climb yet, or simply walking the dog, this beer is designed to get you outside to play.” – Adam Avery
