Three Floyds Honors 14th Century Badass

An oak barrel sour ale from Three Floyds should get you salivating. Three Floyds Chevalier Bertrand du Guesclin gets it’s name from a French military commander during the Hundred Years’ War. Interestingly, Du Guesclinis buried at Saint-Denis in the tomb of the Kings in France, while his heart is kept at the basilica of Saint-Sauvenur.

In order to survive in the 14th century on needed to be a force to be reckoned with. In Brittany, Spain and France, this knight proved his mettle in battle after battle. This tart blueberry ale was brewed in one of our 3000 gallon folders in his honour.

As for the beer, Three Floyds Chevalier Bertrand du Guesclin is a sour ale aged in wine barrels with blueberries. 750ml bottles.
