The Bruery’s Black Tuesday is a legendary offering in craft beer. A new variable of the massive imperial stout debuted at the Great American Beer Festival – Rum Barrel Aged Black Tuesday.
The annual release is aged in bourbon barrels. As a part of the 2014 Bruery Reserve Society, members are allocated two bottles of each, with no additional sales available.
This variation of Black Tuesday was aged in previously used rum barrels for an extended period of time. Still rich in notes of caramel, toasted malt, vanilla, burnt wood an anise, this variation has additional fruit and spice notes from the rum barrels.
The Bruery Rum Barrel Aged Black Tuesday is a part of the October allocations.
