Widmer’s Lemongrass Heads For Reserve
Rob Lucente Of Peak Brewing Company said to me a while back – “You know who is going to have a great year? – Widmer Brothers” Upon asking why, he said they have been buying a lot of great ingredients. Word gets around. Judging by not only Widmer’s spiffy new website, and the taste of their beers, they’ve definitely got their eye on the ball.
Lemongrass Wheat Ale will be joining The Brother’s Reserve as #5 just behind Galaxy Hopped Barleywine. A wheat ale brewed with lemongrass & muscat grapes. It just wreaks of summer flavors.
Availability: 22oz bombers, typically boxed.

Dundee Summer Joins The Can Revolution
Dundee Brewing joins the “Can Revolution” this summer with Summer Wheat Beer. A wheat heavy offering includes a bit of rye for complexity. Better beer in cans is a growing trend. Cans are overcoming the stigma of being less desirable than bottles. New can linings protect the flavor of the beer from aluminum. Beer is protected from light, the flavor stays fresh. Cans are better for the environment. If you need even another reason, cans are perfect for the pool, camping, beach. I’m sure that’s what Dundee had in mind too.
An American style wheat beer. Brewed with 40% wheat and a touch of rye malt to produce a refreshingly unique flavor. Aroma hops, fruity esters and a think, creamy head top off this summer classic.

The Taste Of Summer. Canned.
21st Amendment Brewing’s Hell Or High Watermelon Wheat is back for the summer with beautiful new artwork. Hell is a wheat beer with watermelon added to the fermentation. It literally is summer in a can.
Like Lady Liberty, we stand for independence and perseverance. In the pursuit of innovative beer, there is no obstacle too great. No journey too long. No fruit too gigantic. This American wheat beer is brewed with real watermelon, for a flavor that’s surprisingly crisp, dry and refreshing–summer in a can.
Hell or High Watermelon Wheat is our summer seasonal beer available from April through September in six pack cans and on draft. We start by brewing a classic American wheat beer, which undergoes a traditional secondary fermentation using fresh watermelon. A straw-colored, refreshing beer with a kiss of watermelon aroma and flavor.
