Michelob Ultra Light Cider, Launches May 7th

Cider is the new pink.  MillerCoor’s craft extension Tenth & Blake just acquired Crispin Cider for close to $100 million.  Sam Adams has recently discontinued Hardcore Cider, in lieu of Angry Orchard Ciders arriving in March.  Cider is definitely on the move.

Anheuser-Busch is getting in the game too – with an extension of their “Ultra” brand – Michelob Ultra Light Cider.  According to a local AB rep, the cider won’t be as sweet as most ciders out there, and a lower calore alcoholic beverage.   Definite approaching the calorie conscious drinker.  The cider will be all natural, and gluten free.
