“Horchata” Flavored Beer Returns

One of the first commercially available “Horchata” beers is returning in January. Horchata is a Spanish/Latin American milky drink, made from crush almonds or rice. Poncha Springs, Colorado’s Elevation Beer Company mimics these flavors in Señorita.

If you are one of the lucky ones in Colorado or Texas that can get Señorita, expect flavors or vanilla, cinnamon, & sweet milk. The 2014 recipe was tweaked a little bit, increasing the spicing and milk sugar additions. Just like Elevation’s other releases, look for this in 750ml bottles

Style: Imperial Porter (Vanilla, Cinnamon)
Hops: Northern Brewer, Chinook
Malts:Two-Row, Crystal, Aromatic, Chocolate, Roasted Barley, Flaked Barley

Availability: 750ml bottles. Winter Seasonal.

8.4% ABV, 25 IBUs
