Breckenridge Brewing celebrates 20 years of brewing this Saturday, April 2nd. In honor of 2 decades of hard work, the brewery will be releasing 180 commemorative bottles of “Twenty” at Breckenridge’s tasting room in Denver, Colorado.
About “Twenty”
Twenty has already made limited appearances on draft. It’s a Scottish ale aged in Stranahan’s Colorado Whiskey barrels. 180 bottles have been corked & caged by the brewery. Bottles will be sold first come, first serve at 10 am on Saturday 4/2/11. Bottles are $20 each, 2 bottle limit. Trade bait anyone?
Breckenridge Brewery was founded in 1990 in Breckenridge, Colorado. In the past two decades Breckenridge Brewery has grown from a small 3,000-barrels-a-year brewpub to one of the most successful craft beer companies in the nation. It now handcrafts over 30,000 barrels of fresh beer annually and owns and operates 5 pubs in the state of Colorado.
What You Need To Know:
March 25th, big launch party in San Francisco. Reserve Society Member? You get yours on March 28th. April 8th, The Bruery & Cigar City will do a tasting room to tasting room release/web broadcast. (Nerdy AND alcoholic. Nice.) The week after that, Florida & California gets their bottles. April 18th – IL, NY, NJ, VA, MD, DC, GA get bottles. After May 2nd, NV, AZ, CO, OR, WA, WI, OH, IN, MA, NC, SC, PA get their bottles.
Over the weekend at Cigar City Brewing’ s Hunaphu day, Papaya IPA was released. Papaya has made a couple of small appearances on draft before this big release.
