Bell’s Quinannan Falls is being canned this week

Bell's Quinannan Falls Lager

Bell’s Quinannan Falls Special Lager Beer will be the next canned offering from the Comstock, Michigan based brewery.

Inspired by a place that Larry Bell imagined in a dream, neither the beer, nor the waterfall existed outside his imagination. Michigan artist, Kathleen Kalinowski made the vision a reality the next day, and the beer was born.

The lager beer is reminiscent of a German pilsner, brewed with Simcoe hops.

The end result is a dry-hopped lager that possesses a crisp, dry bitterness you would expect from a German pilsner, but the use of highly aromatic Simcoe hops from the Pacific Northwest, evoke the fragrant pine forests that inspired this beer.

Bell’s Quinannan Falls Special Lager Beer will be available in 12 ounce cans (6 packs) starting in late June, 2016. Above, the image of the canned waiting to be filled at the Michigan brewery on June 7th.

Style: Lager
Availability: 12oz Cans, Draft.

Bell’s Brewery to add Kansas, Nebraska, & South Dakota this year

Bell’s Brewery will add Kansas, Nebraska, and South Dakota in 2016. The search for distributor partners have begun in each of the target states.

“This process always begins with finding the right distributor partner – one who shares our standards of quality, customer service and passion. It will take some time, but we’ll work as fast as we can so that beer can start shipping,” said Bell’s Vice President, Laura Bell.

Bell’s will also head to Louisiana, Mississippi and Arkansas this year as well. No timeline for launch is available yet. Each state will be announced as deals are signed.

Bell’s 30th Anniversary Ale Arrives in September

Bell's 30th Anniversary Ale

Bell’s 30th Anniversary Ale arrives in September, 2015.

Back in 1985, brewery founder Larry Bell took a 15 gallon soup pot, and started a journey that make beer history. Bell’s 30th Anniversary Ale, a nod to the brewery’s Expedition Stout, celebrates the three decade brewing journey.

“This beer is a testament to three-plus decades of hard-work. It honors all that has helped us get to this point – hard work, quality and authenticity,” said Larry Bell, Bell’s President and Founder.

Bell’s 30th Anniversary Ale is brewed with a collection of dark malts, and Polaris hops. Available in 12 ounce bottles and draft in all of Bell’s Brewery’s markets in September, 2015.

Style: Imperial Stout
Hops: Polaris

Availability: 12oz Bottles, Draft.

11% ABV
