Leon’s Hosts Terrapin Tap Takeover Today
Swing over to Leon’s Full Service in Decatur for big Terrapin lineup. Expect two different years of Terrapin Reunion Beer (with and without chilis!) and the first keg of Imperial Pilsner since 2006.

Today, Leon’s Full Service in Decatur celebrates 3 awesome years. A quick thank you from Leons:
Wow, I can’t believe it’s been 3 years already. Thank you all so very much for making it such a spectacular year. Our staff has worked hard and we want to celebrate with you all and thank you. What a year it’s been. We were voted in Best of Atlanta: Best Cocktails, Best Bartender, Best Waitstaff, Best Veggie Dish. Food and Wine magazine named LEONs Full Service a TOP 50 Bar in America!
We are very proud of all of our staff and want to thank our management team specifically for their leadership and hard work. Our managing partner Ryan Gallagher, Assistant GM Heather Gibbons, Chef Eric Ottensmeyer,Sous Chef Robert Lupo, Bar Manager Miles Macquarrie & our newest memberFloor Manager Crystal Keddie-Hill. Also a big thanks to all of you for your support, friendship and for telling all your friends about us. We couldn’t have made it without you. We’ve put a brand new pergola on the patio and just popped

NOW TAPPING: Founder’s Nemesis 2010
Leon’s Full Service is tearing it up. In addition to Southern Tier’s Choklat, Leon’s has Founder’s 2010 pouring.
Style: American Barleywine
Taste Expectations: Smell is alcohol and hops. Taste is complex, while not being heavy. The alcohol shines for sure, but not in an overwheming way. Caramel malts, chocolate, even coffee have been used to describe this. Try it and sort it out!

NOW TAPPING: Southern Tier Choklat
The first sighting of Southern Tier’s Choklat isn’t in stores, it’s at Leon’s Full Service in Decatur. Choklat is an imperial stout released by the Lakewood, NY brewery seasonally in November, but is making an early appearance now.
Choklat is an understatement when it comes to the chocolate aspects of this beer. If you have had Mocha, the chocolate you smell is HALF of what is in the brew.

RARE BEER: Terrapin’s Big Sloppy Monster!
One of the more rare offerings by Terrapin Brewing ( Athens, GA) is their “Big Sloppy Monster.” Big Sloppy is actually their imperial red ale – “Big Hoppy Monster” aged about 14 months in Jack Daniels barrels.
This keg is tapping at Leon’s Full Service in Decatur, GA with 13 other offerings by Terrapin including their newest Side Project #13 “Hopzilla” Double IPA.
Other offerings include Monks’s Revenge, Boom Shakalager, Hopsecutioner, Rye Pale, Hop Karma, Gamma Ray, Reunion 2010, Rye Squared, Big Hoppy Monster 2009, Golden Ale.
RUMOR: Substance Abuse – I.E. Wake & Bake in Jack Daniel’s will also make an appearance!
