Monday Night Laissez-Faire Debuts Today

Monday Night Laissez-Faire, a wheatwine aged in red wine barrels, makes its first public debut today. The beer has been aging at the brewery for 10 months.

Laissez-Faire, Noun -les eh fair; French le-sey-fer To Allow the beer to hang out in a red wine barrel for months on end.

Recent releases in the Black Tie Series includes Spirit Animal, and Tie Four One, the brewery’s 4th Anniversary offering.

Monday Night Laissez-Faire is a 22 ounce bottle offering. The brewery debuts this newbie with a very special lineup at Brick Store Pub in Decatur, Georgia.

Style: Wheatwine (Barrel Aged. Red Wine.)
Hops: Chinook, Columbus, and Willamette
Malts: Pilsner, Caramel, Flaked Oats
Yeast: Champagne

Availability: 22oz Bottles, Draft.

Avery Vallum Barrel-Aged Wild Grape Ale, Barrel Aged #30

Avery Vallum Barrel-Aged Wild Grape Ale will be the 30th entry into the brewery’s barrel aged series.

The 100% spontaneously fermented beer uses Cabernet Franc grapes, and Cabernet Sauvignon barrels.

Yet another 100% spontaneous fermentation! The wild yeast living on on the grape skins once again did all the heavy lifting. Now do a 12 oz curl into your favorite drinking glass. Sip. Repeat. Feel the Burn.

Avery Vallum will be a 12 ounce bottle offering. These releases are limited, with a majority sold at the brewery on release day.

Jester King Sherry Barrel Atrial Rubicite Arrives Sept 4th

Jester King Sherry Barrel Atrial Rubicite arrives in time for the Labor Day weekend.

As the name suggests, Jester King Sherry Barrel Rubicite is the raspberry laden American wild ale, aged for 15 months in Spanish sherry.

The base Rubicite was brewed in 2013, and matured in oak barrels for a year. In true Jester King fashion the beer was blending in Spring of 2014, then refermented with raspberries. From there, it was racked to the sherry barrels until July, 2015.

Jester King Sherry Barrel Atrial Rubicite was released Friday, September 4th in 330ml bottles at the brewery in Austin, Texas. it was sold out in a matter of hours.

Style: American Wild Ale (w/ Raspberries. Oak Barrel Aged. Sherry Barrel Aged.)

Creature Comforts See the Stars, Aged in Maple Syrup Bourbon

Creature Comforts See the Stars, a new maple bourbon barrel aged imperial stout, releases September 12th.

The brewery experimented with this beer before the brewery officially opened. Co-founders Adam Beauchamp and David Stein maple-treated Corsair barrels. The end result was fantastic, so the recipe has been upscaled for a public release.

Creature Comforts obtained Willet bourbon barrels and sent some to Mac’s Maple, a maple syrup farm in New Hampshire. After four months, the barrels were drained and sent to the Athens, Georgia brewery.

Creature Comforts See the Stars will be available at a special event at the brewery on September 12th, 2015. No distribution. Tickets are available through  the brewery’s website.
