From Shmaltz Brewing (San Francisco/New York) comes R.I.P.A. on Rye. This small batch release finds R.I.P.A., just recently added imperial IPA to the year round line up by the brewery aged in Sazerac 6 year rye whiskey barrels.

Malts – Specialty Two-Row, Rye Ale, Torrified Rye, Rye Flakes, Crystal Rye 75, Crystal Malt 80, Wheat, Kiln Amber, Caramunich 60
Taste Expectations – Sweet notes, with whiskey hints. Caramel malts, and oak. Vanilla, toffee & booze also prevalent
