Hi-Wire Brewing Company (Asheville, NC) brewhouse is officially on the on the ground in Asheville, North Carolina.
Weeks ago, Hi-Wire announced the addition of a production facility just two miles from the currently downtown tasting room. The 30-barrel, 4 vessel brewhouse was built in Europe, and arrived stateside through Savannah, Georgia in three, 40 foot containers. It will take Hi-Wire about a month to assemble and bring online.
“There will be a divergence between what we brew in our South Slope brewery and what we brew at the Bilmore location,” said Hi-Wire Brewing Head Brewer, Luke Holgate. “Biltmore will be the place in which we brew all our core beers and put beer into bottles for consumption outside North Carolina. The South Slope will become a place for experimentation and and creativity. I am excited to have more opportunity to experiment and grow Hi-Wire’s beer portfolio,” he added.
The new location, aka “The Biltmore Bigtop,” should be operational by mid-summer, 2015.
