Recently Goose Island added ghost peppers to Bourbon County Stout. The beer saw the light of day in November’s Illinois Festival of Wood & Barrel Aged Beer Fest. Even more interesting though, is that because the ghost pepper is such a hot pepper, that the brewery only used .7 of a gram per 5 gallons!
