Flying Dog Sriracha Pale Ale To Join Chili Beer Game

Flying Dog Sriracha Pale Ale

Is Sriracha in beer the next big thing? Maybe. Rogue Brewing made hot splash with their recent Sriracha Hot Stout BeerThe stout finished with a touch of heat, reminiscent of the chili sauce.

Soon another brewery, Flying Dog, is taking a shot at it. Flying Dog Sriracha Pale Ale. This rendition uses a lighter bodied beer (a pale ale) and a mix of chili peppers.

Disconnected from the world below, the entire brewery congregates atop a historic overlook each year to develop beers that shatter the confines of traditional styles. The only precedent lies in a few simple words from the Good Doctor: “Too weird to live, too rare to die.” – Hunter S. Thompson

Flying Dog Sriracha Pale Ale joins the brewery’s Brewhouse Rarities Series. The line features small batch, one-off and experimental batches of beers that are just a little different than your typical IPA or porter. Flying Dog has pulled back their distribution to Maryland and just a handful of places. If you want this beer, find some Maryland friends.
