Cigar City Brewing (Tampa, FL) will be canning by the end of the year. (If not sooner.) The brewery purchased the old canning line from New Belgium after their recent $8 million canning line upgrade.
The pictures here are from Cigar City’s recent trip to Colorado to visit the can manufacturing giant Ball Corporation. These are the first look at the prototypes the cans Cigar City will produce. Don’t be thrown off, the cans will be 12 oz in size. These are uncut testers. Initial launch titles include Jai Alai, Helles Lager, Maduro Brown, Florida Cracker.
