Lots of new releases over the past week. Here is a run down of new stuff for your glass.

Sierra Nevada Ovila Saison – 7%.  Second edition in the New Clairveaux collaborations. 750ml bottles.

Smuttynose Homunculus – Belgian IPA, 9.9%.  Hoppy Belgian style IPA w/ impregnating packaging 22oz bombers.

Heavy Seas Davy Jones Lager – Imperial Pils, 7%. Imperial cream ale.  Grainy & smooth. 22oz

Evil Twin Ryan and the Beaster Bunny – Saison, 7%.

Evil Twin Ashtray Heart – Smoked Stout, 8.9%. Smokey  & dark.

Evil Twin Wet Dream – Hoppy Brown Ale, 8%.  Made for The Trappist in Oakland, CA

Evil Twin Katz Pis – IPA, 6.5%.  Renamed from Catz Piss. Stupid US alcohol rules.

Jailhouse Conjugal Visit – Red Ale, 6%.  New red ale from Hampton, GA. 22oz bombers.

Evil Twin Brewing (Denmark) is tossing you a hop bomb.  Or a Molotov cocktail.  This very imperial IPA is called by Evil Twin a “tour de force” of hops.

Label:
Did you like Before, During, & After Christmas?  Maybe you thought it poured brilliantly, and you loved of the arrogant amounts of hops wowed you.  This beer will knock your tongue off, essentially due to the obscene amount of hops that went down this explosive fella.  It’s a tour de force in hoppiness and by far the craziest beer made by Evil Twin… but not the last

Molotov Cocktail joins Disco Beer, Yin, Yang, Before During & After Christmas in the current U.S. lineup.  Future releases include  Monk Suffers Serious Sugar Rush on Barbados, Bikini, & Without You I’m Nothing.

Evil Twin Brewing Adds 2

Evil Twin Monk Suffers

Evil Twin Brewing (Denmark) launched in the United States back in April.  The launch beers included :Before, During, & After Xmas, Soft Dookiee, Disco Beer, Yin, & Yang.   Tasty, yet fairly expensive, Evil Twins beers have been quite well received.  (Soft Dookiee is a bit scarce.)  Also Evil Twin has done a little logo tweaking.

2 more brews (with fairly lengthy titles) are being added to the U.S. lineup.

Monk Suffers Serious Sugar Rush On Barbados – Belgian Strong Dark, 8%.

This is the story of a dedicated Belgian brother who spent all his money on an all-inclusive Barbados vacation to pursue a lifelong dream – brew an old fashioned dark Belgian infused with local muscovado sugar, aka Barbados sugar.  Luckily, the outcome is a first class, candy-coated, full-bodied escapist beer – the best ever made.  Hallelujah!

Without You I’m Nothing – Sour Ale, 6.2% ABV

You know the story, a dull-looking guy – he is dry, maybe a tad overweight and let’s face it, not very charming.  But somehow he hooks up with a piquant, profound, and very attractive girl.  She finds him oh so down to earth, loyal, and cute, and even though it’s such an odd parade, they make a very interesting and charismatic couple

Evil Twin Brewing Lands In US, Atlanta

Evil Twin Brewing has launched in the United States, and is arriving in PA, New York, and now Atlanta.

About The Evil Twin: Evil Twin Brewing is the brainchild of Jeppe Jarnit-Bjergsø. An avid beer geek since 1997, Jeppe began home-brewing in Copenhagen, Denmark in June/’03. His first foray into the commercial craft beer scene commenced in September/’05, when he opened the now world-famous bottle shop Ølbutikken in Copenhagen. The reputation of Jeppe & his shop grew quickly, and myriad side projects began (including his collaboration with Cantillon on the BlÃ¥bær Lambik — one of this most highly regarded, highly sough-after lambics in the world). Evil Twin Brewing is Jeppe’s latest venture, and is the culmination of the vast knowledge, experiences, and relationships he’s built over the years.

The Launch Beers

Before, During, & After Xmas – Imperial IPA, 8% ABV.
Soft Dookie – Imperial Stout, 10.8% ABV.
Disco Beer – Imperial IPA, 10% ABV.<
Yin – Imperial Stout, 10% ABV.
Yang – Imperial IPA, 10% ABV.

Per the press release, Evil Twin Brewing will start hitting shelves & bars gradually throughout May.  They are distributed by 12% Imports.
