Perhaps you’ve heard of a single hop beer, where a brewer showcases the qualities of just one hop.  Well this is something entirely different – a singl hip beer- our tribute to the hipster neighborhoods from across the globe.  This super-cool, disheveled little pale ale is dedicated to Williamsburg, Brooklyn.  It’s an homage to skinny jeans, converse, vintage clothing, and all things local.  Sent to you lovingly 4,000 miles away from the beautiful island of Fano, Denmark.  Cheers hipsters!

Evil Twin’s Christmas Eve At A New York City Hotel Room

A little while back we mentioned that Evil Twin Brewing was working on some Christmas Beers.  This is one of them.  Christmas Eve At A New York City Hotel Room.  Evil Twin has said they aren’t a fan of the traditional spicy winter warmers.  Here’s the evidence.  Much like Mikkeller, Evil Twin is also a gypsy brewer.

Evil Twin’s Latest Saison, Ron & The Beast Ryan

Evil Twin Brewing’s newest saison headed stateside is touted as a collaboration between Ron & The Beast Ryan.  A funky Danish ale.

In Denmark we have a lovely tradition for funky beer, and what you have here is certainly no exception.  This is a never before seen collaboration between Ron and the Beast Ryan.  A fluffy and precious Saison brewed on the beautiful island of Fano on the west coast of Denmark.  It may sound  like a true fairytale, but don’t be fooled by it’s cute appearance.  Best before 2015.

Since I’m not a fan of the common dark, spicy and often over sweet x-mas beer, I’m planning to release 3 different uncommon christmas beers for the 2011 edition of these over-hyped holidays.

’Before, During and After Christmas Beer’ – a 8% dry and crisp double IPA (brewed at Fanø, released all year)
’Christmas Eve at a New York City Hotel Room’ – a 10% classic imperial stout (brewed at De Molen – new recipe this year)

Soft Dookie (aka Soft DK) Special Holiday Edition…..

I NEED YOUR HELP!

With Soft Dookie Special Holiday Edition I plan to take away the vanilla and add something else…..but what? Please share suggestions, everything that is buyable and addable to beer is possible, so dont hold yourself back. Don’t think christmas, think flavor and aroma and think BIG!

If you can come up with a cool, funky, stupid name as well, throw it at me, I might even use it
