Anheuser-Busch is currently in the early stages of testing a variant of Bud Light Lime dubbed – Lime-A-Rita. Cans of “Test Beer L” have recently been circulated within the company according to a local brewery rep.
From what I gather, Lime-A-Rita is an attempt to grow/appeal to a growing market of alco-pop drinkers (example FourLoko.) Initial interpretations from those who have tasted it say the flavor is pretty close to an actual margarita. (Salt not included.)
