Hof Ten Dormaal Destroyed By Fire

Belgian brewery Hof Ten Dormaal (Tildonk, Belgium) was destroyed by a fire this week. The fire started in a detached barn next to the brewery and spread.

After pulling details from various sources and contacting a couple local drinkers through Facebook (in a variety of languages), it seems the 14th century barn contained the bottling line. The fire spread to the brewing building, destroying brewing supplies and hops, but the kettles survived and potentially can be used.

The fire has been ruled accidental. A GoFundMe site has been created to assist in the rebuild.

The images below were posted to the brewery’s Facebook page.
