This beer will be debuting at Savor in June. Anniversary Ale celebrates Rogue Creamery’s 75th Anniversary (1935-2010.) The Creamery was opened shortly after the Great Depression in hopes to bring jobs back to Oregon. Artisan cheeses are the Creamery’s specialty.
This ale is actually a collaboration between Rogue Creamery & Rogue Ales. It is comprised of 10 ingredients:
Hops: Rogue Micro Hopyard Rebel Hops Malts: Crystal 75, Weyerrnann carafe Special II, Malteries Franco Belges Kiln Amber, Hugh Baird Brown and Rogue Micro Barley Farm Dare’ & Risk’ Malts; Rogue Micro Buckwheat, Yeast: Pacman

American Craft Beer Week is May 16-22nd, 2011. Special events are going on from coast to coast. Something interesting coming out of Ft. Collins, Colorado – a collaboration. Nine breweries local to the Ft. Collins area are coming together to create a “super” collaboration in honor of the week.
C.B. Potts, Coopersmith’s, Crooked Stave, Equinox, Fort Collins Brewing, Funkwerks, New Belgium, Odell Brewing, Pateros Creek are involved with the recipe creation.
“American Craft Beer Week (ACBW) is all about recognizing and celebrating craft brewers and craft beer culture,” said Doug Odell, founder of Odell Brewing Company. “This collaboration lets us do that and have fun making something special for the craft beer drinkers in our hometown community.”
There will be 2 simultaneous brews on April 22nd at Coopersmith & Equinox. The beers will be blended together, and be poured at the breweries and throughout the city.
