NFL Player Arian Foster Takes Shot at Anheuser-Busch

Anheuser-Busch took a stand this week again the new scandals in the NFL, surrounding domestic violence and child abuse. AB-InBev spends around $50 million a season in sponsorships and advertising.

Houston Texans running back Arian Foster didn’t see it as a big company standing up for good. He sees the view as “tainted.”

Foster took to Twitter, saying things like “Lol ok, alcohol company” and even going as far as saying “alcohol and domestic violence are damn near synonymous.”

Below are more of Foster’s comments. What do you think? Should A-B have said anything at all? Arian Foster Comments

  1. Synonymous is quite a stretch, I’m sure not many people reading this website would even think about committing domestic violence, but I bet a high percentage of domestic violence cases involve alcohol. You can’t, however, say that alcohol causes domestic violence.

    • agreed, but alcohol does exacerbate issues in people that have violent tendencies.

which does make this “stand” by AB a bit ironic
