The Bryce Harper “That’s a clown question bro!” comment is now a beer. Last week, the Washington Nationals outfielder was asked if he had a favorite beer. He’s a 19 year old Canadian that can’t drink in the U.S. In addition to the age factor, he’s reportedly Mormon to boot. They frown/forbid alcohol consumption.
Denver Brew Co didn’t miss a beat with that kind of beer name fodder. The brewery plans on releasing Clown Question, a fitting Canadian lager this week when the Washington Nationals visit the Colorado Rockies. Apparently, it might even come with a red clown nose.
In an ESPN report – Dustin Pedroia of the Boston Red Sox was asked how he would have responded. “I would have said fuck you, I’m 19.”
