Yazoo Hop Project #64 Bottled

Yazoo Brewing’s latest  Hop Project #64 has been bottled.   The latest IPA features English hops. Specifically –  Challenger, Progress, and Target.

The result? Well, the bitterness is very mellow and clean. It has a great spicy aroma, with hints of candy and orange marmalade. I really like it, and it is a great change of gears from #63. After a couple of batches of #64, enough to get it distributed out to all of our distribution area, we’ll be getting some New Zealand hops in for #65.

Clown Shoes Miracle IPA Saves Puppies (And Other Good Things)

Clown Shoes Miracle IPAOk, more than just puppies.  A percentage of the sales of Clown Shoes Brewing’s new Miracle IPA will benefit the Minor Miracle Fund.  The fund will go to support worthy causes over time.  Miracle Mike (mentioned on the label) is a real person – Mike Pettengill, one of the brewery’s delivery drivers.   He is having a costume designed for him to wear at events/festivities/fundraisers.  Best answer to why he is the one on the beer label?  Per Mike: “Because I’m f&#king awesome.”  Save the world Mike.  Save the world.

Our boy, Miracle Mike, represents the good we hope to do with the Clown Shoes Minor Miracle Fund.  A percentage of profits from this juicy, sessionable IPA will be used to help real people (and maybe a puppy or two.)

Style: American IPA
