…notes of orange peel and coriander, the soft mouthfeel reminiscent of a Belgian wit, and the hop additions of Simcoe, Citra and Cascade, he strikes a delicate balance between two disparate styles while showcasing the characteristics of both.
The beer was packaged this month and is ready to ship. Harpoon brewmaster Ken Hermann chats about the new release.
Cigar City (Tampa, FL) will spend next week bottling and kegging the largest batch of White Oak Jai Alai IPA they have ever done. The IPA spend some of it’s early life aging on flavorful white oak. The result is tropical, oaky, and flavorful. It’s been a minute since this beer has been released. Many are excited to see it return.
This is an American White Oak-aged version of Jai Alai India Pale Ale. The white oak adds smoothing notes of vanilla and slight hints of dill to the aroma and flavor profile. The finish is elegantly dry due to the light tannin notes from oak aging and though still loaded with hop flavor, hop bitterness is more restrained.

That’s Brewdog’s newest beer Never Mind The Anabolics. All those “additives” are a part of a 6.5% ABV IPA brewed in honor of the London Olympics, just days away.
Why waste time training hard? This little beauty does the hard work for you. Guaranteed to boost your sporting ability in an almost completely legal way. Most of the performance enhancing additives we infused into this ale are banned for professional athletes. But winning by any possible means is the name of the game here.
I’m sure the name is a tiny homage to the Sex Pistols only studio they ever produced back in 1993. Back in April, Brewdog launched a beer boasting viagra as an additive to help Prince Willy’s “willy.”
The beer is for sale online, and will hit Brewdog bars in the UK this weekend. $7 (US).

Collaborating with De Molen Brewery in the “Green Heart” of The Netherlands, we have created a wild and inventive recipe that is a unique blend from the best of both worlds! A super-charged Saison I.P.A. is born, featuring kilos of American hops to add a crazy twist to this European-style ale. The fruity, spicy flavors of this malty Double Saison are nicely complimented by an abundance of late and dry-hopping with the finest American hops.
