The Bruery Mocha Wednesday makes a reappearance

The Bruery Mocha Wednesday was released this week to Reserve Society members.

The Bruery Mocha Wednesday is a massive imperial stout, featuring coffee and TCHO chocolate. Aged in bourbon barrels.

There is a two bottle limit for members for Mocha. (In addition to the two already allocated.) On sale now through 1/23/14. $33.99 per bottle.

The Bruery Chronology:6 Released to Reserve Society Members

The Bruery Chronology:6 is now available to Reserve Society members. This particular offering kicks off a series of barrel aged offerings.

Chronology:6 is a bourbon barrel aged ale, aged six months in barrels. A new chronology will be released at six month intervals in order to show how time in the barrels change the beer flavor.

Bottles are $21.25 each, with a two bottle limit. Available now until 1/24/15.

Great Lakes Barrel-Aged Blackout Stout Returns January 26th

Great Lakes Barrel-Aged Blackout Stout returns on January 26th, 2015. The brewery will release the beer that Monday evening with two ticketed time slots, then to the public in the brewery’s gift shop on Tuesday morning.

Great Lakes Barrel-Aged Blackout Stout is the brewery’s Russian imperial stout aged in oak bourbon barrels.

Event Details: 

  • $40 per ticket, times will be 5-7pm and 8:30-10:30pm
  • Admission includes 5oz pour drink tickets for 2015 BA Blackout, 2014 BA Blackout, 2013 Rackhouse, Jabberwocky and 2014 Blackout
  • Valet parking, live music and food also included, cash bar available
  • Bottles to-go will be available – $8 per 12oz bottle, $30 per 4-pack, $180 per case
  • Buy tickets here

Public Release (1/27):

  • Bottles go on sale at the GLBC gift shop at 10am
  • $8 per 12oz bottle, $30 per 4-pack, $180 per case

Red Hare Barrel Aged Gangway IPA, A Bottle Potential

Red Hare Brewing (Marietta, GA) will do two new things when/if Barrel Aged Gangway IPA is released. Launch their first barrel aged packaging, alongside 22oz bottles.

Gangway IPA is a year round offering the brewery has put into Jose Cuervo tequila barrels.

Red Hare’s tequila barrel aged Gangway IPA has been aged in Jose Cuervo tequila barrels to provide the IPA with notes of tequila and an agave finish. A slate sweetness from the tequila barrels lens a unique flavor that blend seamlessly with the IPAs bitter and citrus notes to create a smooth mellow taste.

Red Hare Barrel Aged Gangway IPA will be available in 22oz bottles.
