Spiteful Brewing Norm is a Son of a Bitch hits shelves in the Chicago area this week. Brewed as a tribute to a cranky pointer named Norm, the beer is a German style Roggenbier.
A roggenbier is basically any beer where malted rye is substituted for barley malt. In many cases, up to 60% of the beer grain is rye. Typically, hefeweizen yeast is used to ferment a roggenbier.
