A red IPA for the changing season? Runoff Red IPA from Odell Brewing Co. is the new name for Red Ale. Typically spring and fall. Red IPAs have a strong malt backbone, giving them a darker, sometimes red appearance (depending on the malt the brewer uses.) The goat that was once on the Red Ale label is still in this label. Can you find it?
Runoff is a rebranding of our seasonal Red Ale. We wanted to give the beer a new label and name that better depicts the spirit of the season, and offers depth and imagery that match our other seasonal offerings. It’s also a new description of the beer, though we have not changed the recipe. It’s always been a very hoppy brew, and Red IPA more accurately describes the style.
