The variations of Mikkeller’s George imperial stout are headed to the United States, along with the regular edition. You will soon see the Calvados Aged George, along with a Cognac Barrel Aged edition. Cognac is a variation of brandy aged in French oak for at least two years. In order to bear the name “cognac,” it must be distilled from Ugni Blanc grapes. (A bit like how champagne must be made in a particular French region.)
Brewed at Nogne-O. Imported by Shelton Brothers. This beer has been out in Europe for a while now.
