Sam Calagione makes fan Mat Pepino happy by giving him a taste of Festina Lente. Mat has had every Dogfish Head beer they have ever bottled with this one exception. The beer was first released in 2003, described as – A neo-lambic ale that goes through both a yeast and bacteria fermentation and is then aged on oak chips and 400 pounds of Delaware peaches. This beer is very tart and complex. It is bottle-conditioned in champagne bottles. Looked like a fun party.
