Ah, the saga of Lagunitas. They order a new brewhouse and it gets clobbered in transit. Meanwhile, the brewery’s founder Tony Magee does some number crunching and finds that it is much more cost effective to build another brewhouse in his previous home of Chicago.
Seasonals have been pretty FUBAR too, thanks to production issues caused by the brewhouse debacle. However, there is a diamond in the rough. A new seasonal will emerge now that the new brewhouse is in working order. Lagunitas PILS is being cranked up big time. Coming in August : Mondo-Uber-Extra-Colossal-Double-PILS.
