The second release in Goose Island’s Fulton & Wood series is now available. It’s based off a old fashioned cocktail. This English Mild called En Passant will only be brewed once. It is the second installment of the Fulton & Wood series that will only be available in the Chicago area on draft. Brewed by Goose Island’s Joel, Keith, and Claudia, this ale was brewed with lots of rye and blood orange juice. The beer was made to pair well with rye whiskey and thus is low in alcohol content at about 4% ABV. The name, En Passant is French for “in passing” and is also a chess move that can only been used once in a game which matches this one time only brew well.
