What better way to get to know your new brewing equipment than to brew a collaboration beer with the brewery you bought it from right!? That is exactly what Fat Head’s is doing with Troegs. As earlier discussed by BSJ, Fat Head’s purchased Troegs’ brewing equipment from their old Harrisburg, PA facility when they moved to their shiny new one in Hershey, PA.
Yesterday Chris & John Trogner and Matt Cole & Jeff “Moose” Musselman got together at Troegs in Harrisburg, now affectionately known as T1. They brewed what will soon be Scratch #51, named Fat Scratch Fever. At Matt’s request, the beer will be a hoppy one, a variation of Head Hunter IPA, with some changes in the hops. Fat Scratch Fever will be available in early November at Troegs in Hershey, PA and both Fat Head’s locations.
