New Holland Mischievous is set to join the the Holland, Michigan based brewery’s lineup in 2015. The new American wild ale relies 100% on brettanomyces fermentation for it’s flavor profile.
Mischievous presents flavors derived from its 100% brettanomyces fermentation. This wild yeast contributes earthiness, spice, mineral-character and slight tartness. An adventure into rustic sophistication, Mischievous will provide intrigue and surprise.
New Holland Mischievous will be available in 22oz bottles.

The New Holland Mad Hatter IPA recipe is being overhauled by the brewery. The brewery launched the offering in 1998, spawning a full line “Hatter” releases in the following years.
The reimagined version of New Holland Mad Hatter IPA features Michigan-grown Cascade and Citra hops alongside the Centennial hops that have been apart of the recipe since the beginning.
…An adjusted grain bill that increases the alcohol by volume (ABV) to approximately 7%. A freshly engineered hop gun and assertive dry hopping create bold and bright aromatics. Mad Hatter fans will spot the fresh Mad Hatter, as it also includes a creative update to its packaging with a new label and six pack.
The fresh version of New Holland Mad Hatter IPA will kick off with a release party at the Pub on 8th on Friday, April 24. All New Holland markets will receive the updated recipe shortly after.

“We’re excited to launch in Ontario this month,” says VP of Brand & Lifestyle, Fred Bueltmann. “The Canadian craft movement is continually on the rise which makes it an exciting time to be a part of beer and spirits culture there. We are eager to get our brands in front of people who are passionate about the same lifestyle we are.”
Distribution kicks off with The Poet Oatmeal Stout, then the Hatter Series. The spirits side of New Holland will add Beer Barrel Bourbon by months end. Looking for Dragon’s Milk in Ontario? You’ll find it in November.
New Holland products will be distributed by The Craft Brand Company.

The new space is located on the corner of Bridge Street and Broadway Avenue. The brewpub will be home to pub and distillery only offerings, as well as house New Holland’s sour beer program (aka “The House of Funk”).

The brewery has chosen Rockford Construction on the project, which should be completed in 2016. New Holland plans on hiring around 150 new employees prior to launch.
New Holland opened in 1997.
