The next edition in Founders Backstage Series – Frangelic Mountain Brown is officially in bottles. The follow up to Curmudgeon’s Better Half, this brown ale is brewed with hazelnut coffee. Releasing July 2, 2012.
Atlanta’s Hop City Craft Beer & Wine’s owner/founder Kraig Torres was recently on CNN talking about manly beers for Father’s Day. Kraig chose some big beers to celebrate Dads. Dude, it’s not wine. No spit buckets.
Two fruity offerings have returned. Dogfish Head Festina Peche, and Founder’s Cerise.
Festine Peche is berliner weisse, brewed with peaches. 4.5% ABV

Founders Brewing will probably inch out of #42 in sales volume in 2012 with these tank additions. The Grand Rapids, Michigan based brewery is adding tank space today. That’s more beer headed our way soon.
UPDATE: Linchpin will be distributed through Green Flash’s wholesale network. (Meaning, none for Michigan.)
